Israel-Iran war spreads to Gulf as ship hit near Fujairah, Tehran's frigate sunk

Fighting between Israel and Iran spilled deeper into the Gulf after a projectile struck a commercial vessel near the Port of Fujairah, a key global refuelling hub. Saudi officials also reported a drone attempt on the Ras Tanura Refinery, while Iran confirmed the sinking of its frigate IRIS Dena off Sri Lanka.
