The United States has revealed that it kept Russia in the loop about President Joe Biden's surprise Kyiv visit. U.S. NSA Jake Sullivan informed Russian officials hours before the visit for deconfliction purposes. Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev confirmed the reports and said that Russia provided guarantees to the U.S. Despite this, air raid sirens were sounded across Kyiv when Biden was visiting though no Russian strikes were reported.
