Eight people have been killed as wildfires continue to rage in multiple provinces of Turkey. The blaze in Turkey's Mediterranean and Aegean coasts has wreaked havoc, burning down forests, residential houses and hotels. Turkish government has said that 125 fires erupted since July 28 and most of them have been contained after days of firefighting operations. European Union has sent volunteers to Turkey to help in dousing the fire. Turkey has launched an investigation to probe how the fire started.
