Chaos erupted at Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport as thousands of Afghans tried to board flights out of the country. U.S. troops were guarding the military area of the airport. According to reports, U.S. army fired shots in the air to control the crowd from running on the tarmac amid the chaos. Despite no civilian flights running from Kabul, people rushed to the airport in hope of flying out of the country as the Taliban take full control. Air India cancelled its scheduled flight to Kabul on Monday after the airspace over Afghanistan was declared closed and flights were asked to reroute. Watch the full video for more details.
