Watch | Pregnant dolphin saved from baited drumline

An injured pregnant dolphin that had been hooked by a baited drumline was rescued and released into the water by Sea World Australia staff. The rescue team from the park found the aquatic mammal and successfully removed a hook from its mouth. During the procedure the team discovered the dolphin was pregnant and kept it in the veterinary quarantine pool to recover. After a final health check the team released the dolphin back to sea.
