Asif recalled for Sri Lanka series

Pakistan selectors have recalled pace bowler Mohammad Asif for this month's one-day series against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi. Asif, who missed the World Cup due to an elbow injury, has been appointed vice-captain for the series to be played from May 18-22. Talking to reporters, chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board, Dr Naseem Ashraf said that Asif would hold the position only for the three-match series from May 18-22.
