Death toll rises in Kenya, as Gordon Brown appeals for peace (the video is loading, may take long. Please bear with us...)

Tribal clashes have rocked Kenya since President Mwai Kibaki's disputed re-election on the 31st of Dec. At least 180 people have died nationwide and the death toll looks sure to rise. The victims were mostly Kikuyus from Kibaki's ethnic group who fled homes in the area in fear of their lives. Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown urged Kenya's political leaders, to set their differences aside and work towards restoring peace.
