In a landslide victory on March 2, Dmitry Medvedev, President Vladimir Putin's handpicked successor, emerged as the new president of Russia. Addressing the first news conference on Sunday after his victory in the presidential polls, Medvedev said that, he would form his new government and the Kremlin administration in collaboration with Putin.
