Mexico: Thousands ditch their pants to celebrate 'No pants subway ride'

Commuters in Mexico City showed off their underwear by taking part in the annual "No Pants Subway Ride" on Sunday. It is the fifth year that metro riders in Mexico City have participated in the multi-city event, which started in 2002 in New York as a stunt and is now celebrated worldwide. Male and female participants in their underwear travelled alongside fully dressed passengers. Organisers call it "an international celebration of silliness".
