Mudslide, floods kill 130 in Bangladesh

Mudslides, flooding and lightning strikes killed 130 people and left scores missing in Bangladesh as annual monsoons washed away shanties and inundated cities, officials said on Tuesday. Disaster management officials said they feared the death toll would climb as a search by troops, firefighters, police and volunteers intensified after the rains eased on Tuesday and the water started receding.
