Pak envoy says he is held by Taliban: Arabia TV

Pakistan's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammed Sadiq, has confirmed the man appearing in a tape on Arabiya television is the Pakistani diplomat Tariq Azizuddin who went missing from the tribal area in Khyber region in February. Azizuddin appeared on Arabic television on April 19, saying he was being held by the Taliban and urged Islamabad to meet their demands. However, Sadiq refused to say whether there were any demands by those holding the envoy.
