The decision was taken after Bugti did not respond to gestures by Pakistan government to shun violence, they said.
An official of Interior Ministry said Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency wrote a letter to France-based Interpol to issue Red Notices against Bugti, head of the Balochistan Republican Party, and his spokesman Sher Mohammad alias Shera.
Pakistan has informed the Interpol that several cases have been registered against the duo in Balochistan for their role in “various terrorist attacks” in the province.
Bugti, who had last year sought asylum in India, and Shera are reportedly in Geneva.
