US Iran war LIVE: Amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Air France has announced it will be cancelling all flights to and from Israel, Lebanon, the UAE and Saudi Arabia till Thursday.

“Due to the security situation at destination, Air France has canceled its flights to and from Tel Aviv, Beirut, Dubai, and Riyadh until March 5, 2026, inclusive,” said the official statement.

US Iran war LIVE: Mass protests broke out in the Philippines on Tuesdya as thiusands marched towards the US embassy in Manila to call for an end to the conflict with Iran.

Posters, slogans and chants were made against US president Donald Trump and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu for the joint military action in Iran, which has brought the West Asia region to the brink of a regional war.

US Iran war LIVE: Drones targeted an Omani port on Tuesday, hitting a fuel tank, state media said, adding that the damage was contained "without any human casualties".

On Monday, an oil tanker was targeted off the Omani coast. Three Indian nationals on board the tanker were killed in the attack.

The Indian embassy in Oman confirmed the “tragic demise of an Indian national on board MKD Vyom” in a social media post. The embassy said it was coordinating with authorities in Oman to “facilitate the safe and early repatriation of our nationals on board the vessel”.

MKD Vyom, flying the flag of the Marshall Islands, was attacked by a drone boat about 52 nautical miles off the coast of the Muscat governorate. The attack resulted in a fire and an explosion in the main engine room, which resulted in the death of an Indian national, Omani authorities said.

Another two Indian nationals who were part of the crew of the Palau-flagged oil tanker Skylight were killed when the vessel was targeted by Iranian forces in waters near Oman’s Musandam ‌peninsula over the weekend, HT was told on condition of anonymity.

US Iran war LIVE: The US Embassy in Jerusalem has told its citizens that it is “not in a position at this time to evacuate or directly assist Americans in departing Israel.”

Adding to its security alert, the US embassy has redirected citizens to arrangements made by the Israeli tourism ministry.

“The Israeli Ministry of Tourism has begun operating shuttles to the Taba Border Crossing as of March 2. To be added to the passenger list for a shuttle, you must register via the Ministry’s evacuation form . The U.S. Embassy cannot make any recommendation (for or against) the Ministry of Tourism’s shuttle,” reads the notice, adding that if citizens choose to use the shuttles, the US government “cannot guarantee your safety”.

US Iran war LIVE: Amid the conflict with US and Israel, Mehr news agency has reported that explosions have been heard in the Iranian cities of Isfahan and Shiraz.

While more details are awaited, it is assumed that the latest strikes may have targeted nuclear and missile facilities in Iran.

In Shiraz (Fars province), a missile production facility and a missile base is present.

In Isfahan, nuclear facilities include the Isfahan Nuclear Technology Center (INTC), the Isfahan Uranium Conversion Facility (UCF), the Isfahan Fuel Manufacturing Plant (FMP), the Isfahan Fuel Element Cladding Plant, the Isfahan Nuclear Fuel Research and Production Center (NFRPC), and the Isfahan Nuclear Waste Storage Facility.

Both these cities were also targeted during the US strikes on Iran in June 2025.

US Iran war LIVE: Israeli defense Minister Israel Katz has said that the IDF has been authorised advance in southern Lebanon. As per Katz, this decision has been taken to prevent “direct fire” on Israeli communities.

“To prevent the possibility of direct fire at Israeli communities, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I have authorized the IDF to advance and hold additional dominant terrain in Lebanon and defend the border communities from there,” Katz said in a statement as per Reuters.

“The IDF continues to operate forcefully against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. The terrorist organization is paying and will pay a heavy price for the fire toward Israel,” he added further.

US Iran war LIVE: US President Donald Trump is upset is UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, stating that said it was "sad to see" the relationship with Britain was “not what it was”.

Trump's remarks comes after the UK PM initially held off giving support to the strikes against Iran by blocking US' use of the base in Diego Garcia.

"It's very sad to see that the relationship is obviously not what it was," he told the Sun newspaper on Tuesday.

He said that Washington did not need Britain to wage war in the Middle East but added that “It's not going to matter, but (Starmer) should have helped… he should have.”

In rare praise for Macron, Trump stated that France has been a great ally and support during this conflict with Iran, adding that “it has been really different with the UK this time.”

On Monday, UK PM Starmer, speaking in the House of Commons, stated that Britain will not join the strikes against Iran. He added that UK bases can be used by American forces, but London has learnt its lesson from Iraq (2003) and will not be participating.

“We all remember the mistakes of Iraq, and we have learned those lessons. Any UK actions must always have a lawful basis, and a viable thought-through plan,” he said. “That is the principle that I applied to the decisions that I made over the weekend.”

US, Israel attack Iran LIVE: With the disruptions caused due to the US, israel and Iran conflict in West Asia, China has stated it will work towards ensruing its own energy security.

During an press briefing, a spokesperson from the Chinese Foreign Affairs said that China will take “all necessary measures” to ensure its own energy security.

China is Iran's largest trading partner. Iranian exports to China amounted to $22 billion in 2022, of which fuels accounted for more than half of the total. World Bank data further added that imports from China stood at $15 billion.

Meanwhile in 2025, analytics firm Kpler reported that Beijing bought more than 80% of Iran's shipped oil. Iranian oil already has a limited pool of buyers due to US sanctions which seek to cut off funding to Tehran's nuclear programme.

US Iran war LIVE: Tech giant Amazon has stated that two of its data centers in the United Arab Emirates were “directly struck” by drones, disrupting cloud services in parts of the Middle East.

As per an AFP report, a facility in Bahrain was also damaged by “a drone strike in close proximity,” the provider said.

“Due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, both affected regions have experienced physical impacts to infrastructure as a result of drone strikes,” Amazon says in the update.

“These strikes have caused structural damage, disrupted power delivery to our infrastructure, and in some cases required fire suppression activities that resulted in additional water damage," the update adds further.

The company does not specify if any of its employees were injured in the drone strikes, and says they are working closely with local authorities while “prioritizing the safety of our personnel throughout our recovery efforts.”

US Iran war LIVE: The Canadian embassy in Riyadh has announced it will be shutting down its embassy for the day. Tyhe embassy further announced that all in-person appointments have been cancelled till March 6.

“Due to the current security situation, the Embassy of Canada in Riyadh is closed today. Please note that all in-person appointments are canceled through Friday, March 6,” reads the official statement on X.

This announcement comes after the US embassy in Saudi Arabia was targeted by Iranian drones. Saudi Arabia has been hit by drones from Iran as the Islamic Republic vowed to strike US bases across the Gulf as its response to the killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

US Iran war LIVE: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in India, on Tuesday, postponed the Class 10 and 12 board exams scheduled for March 5 in the Middle East region amid the Iran-Israel conflict.

"Due to the current situation in parts of the Middle East---Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE, the board has decided to postpone class 10, 12 exams on March 5," said CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj.

The new dates will be announced later, and for further exams, the situation will be reviewed on March 5, Bhardwaj added.

US, Israel attack Iran LIVE: Israel launched fresh airstrikes on Lebanon as it continued its conflict with Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah. The IDF issued fresh evacuation orders for around 50 locations in the southern region of the country as it struck Beirut.

US Iran war LIVE: Amid the drone strikes and protests in Baghdad, the US Department of State has ordered non-emergency US government employees to leave Iraq due to security concerns.

A level 4 'do not travel' advisory for Iraq had already been issued by the government. Late Monday, a notice from the State Department was issued on X, calling on US nationals in the Middle East to "DEPART NOW" using commercial means.

"Do not travel to Iraq due to terrorism, kidnapping, armed conflict, civil unrest, and the U.S. government’s limited ability to provide emergency services to U.S. citizens in Iraq. Do not travel to Iraq for any reason. Leave now if you are there," reads the advisory from the US embassy in Baghdad.

US Iran war LIVE: After the attack on the US embassy in Riyadh, the US government has cancelled all consular services in Saudi Arabia until further notice.

“The U.S. Mission to Saudi Arabia is closed on Tuesday, March 3. All routine and emergency American Citizen Services appointments are cancelled. The shelter in place notification for Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dhahran remains in place and we recommend American citizens in the Kingdom also continue to shelter in place,” the official statement on X read.

“Avoid the Embassy until further notice due to an attack on the facility. We continue to limit non-essential travel to any military installations in the region,” the statement added further.

US Iran war LIVE: The US embassy in Kuwait on Tuesday said it was closed until further notice, a day after an AFP correspondent saw smoke rising from the mission following Iranian attacks on the country.

"Due to ongoing regional tensions, the US Embassy in Kuwait will be closed until further notice. We have cancelled all regular and emergency consular appointments," the embassy said in a statement on X.

US Iran war LIVE: Amid escalation in West Asia, the chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency has called for a return to diplomacy and talks regarding Iran's nuclear programme.

“We must return to diplomacy & negotiations," said Rafael Mariano Grossi, IAEA chief, as per a statement issued by the United Nations.

“Amid escalation in Middle East, @iaeaorg chief @rafaelmgrossi warns of grave risk posed by any attack on or near a nuclear facility, stressing diplomacy is the only way to achieve assurance Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons,” the statement added further.

US Iran war LIVE: As Israel moves to respond to Hezbollah's strikes, fresh blasts rocked the Lebanese capital of Beirut. This fresh round of attacks comes after the IDF issued evacuation orders for over 50 locations in southern Lebanon in the wake of the conflict with the militant group.

The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah resumed after their ceasefire in November 2024. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a rocket and drone attack in Haifa, which it said was due to Israel's role in the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

US, Israel attack Iran LIVE: The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah has claimed it launched an attack on the Ramat David Air Base in northern Israel.

It said it targeted radar sites and control rooms at the base by deploying “a swarm of drones” at dawn today.

US Iran War Live: In a rare turnaround, an Emirates flight bound for Dubai stayed outside UAE airspace after the country's defence ministry alerts that air defenses were engaging ballistic missiles launched from Iran.
