Bronx fire: 2 dead, 11 injured after blaze on East 187th Street, scary videos from scene; watch
A 4-alarm fire in the Bronx, NYC killed two and injured 11. FDNY mounted a massive response as videos showed firefighters battling the blaze.
Update: The Fire Department of New York City confirmed that the incident was reported on East 187th Street on Sunday around 2:48pm local time. The exact location of the fire was between Crescent Avenue and Cambreleng, the FDNY confirmed.

The building where the blaze broke out was a five-storied mixed residential and commercial building. While the bottom level serves as commercial spaces, the upper part is residential.
The fire quickly spread across the upper floors even as FDNY officials struggled to contain it. Two civilians were trapped inside the building and were found dead by firefighters.
11 other individuals were transported to a local hospital with injuries. Fox 5 reports that two of those injured are critical, while the others were stable. As of now, the names of the two deceased victims have not been released. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
