LONDON: Karan Bilimoria, entrepreneur and member of House of Lords, and educationist Bahram Bekhradnia have been awarded honorary doctorates in Civil Law by the University of East Anglia, UK. Bilimoria is the founder of a popular drinks brand, while Bekhradnia became the first director of the Higher Education Policy Institute in 2002 after a career devoted to the higher education sector both nationally and internationally. The doctorates were presented at the university’s graduation ceremony in Norwich to the two Indian origin individuals.
