WASHINGTON: Stocks filings from 2012 show Donald Trump to be worth $4.2 billion, with some cash, according to a news report. The presumptive Republican nominee has claimed to be worth $10 billion in electoral filings, and insisted he is worth more, but continues to reject calls for him to disclose his tax records to backup those claims.

After making a big deal for long about self-funding his campaign to stay out of the clutches of donors and interest groups, he is now aggressively seeking donations - even $3 would do.
Trump’s wealth has been a matter of much speculation for the better part of his career as a real-estate magnate, and more so since he jumped into the race for the White House.
His Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, has called him an “alleged billionaire” and others of the billionaire club, such as Mark Cuban, openly speculate if he is really one of them.
He is, show 2012 filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, accessed by UK-based The Guardian, which show him worth$4.2 billion, with $250 in liquid cash. Trump, who is prickly about his image, hadn’t responded to The Guardian’ s revelation till the filing of this report.
Trump’s campaign is now seeking contributions. Being late to the game he got badly out-raised by Clinton for the May takings, which has spurred his campaign to get aggressive.
