26-year-old bricklayer beheaded to redden bricks

In a belief that a human sacrifice would help them to redden their bricks, a Bangladeshi man was beheaded by labourers who burnt his head in a kiln, police said on Sunday.

Four people have been arrested for murdering the 26-year-old bricklayer gruesomely in town in northern Bangladesh on the instructions of the brickfield's owners, says a report in Telegraph.

As per reports, the owners were not satisfied as the brick-field was not producing red bricks despite enough heating.

The owners consulted a fortune teller who then suggested that the field needed a human sacrifice," says a local police chief.

The police are searching for the owners and the fortune teller.
