29 injured in China blast

A blast triggered by natural gas leak ripped through a restaurant in the Chinese mega city of Chongqin, injuring at least 29 people.

A blast triggered by natural gas leak ripped through a restaurant in the Chinese mega city of Chongqin, injuring at least 29 people.

The blast took place last night at the restaurant situated in Fengdu county, officials said.

It was an accident triggered by natural gas leak, they said.

Twenty nine people were injured, two of them critically, and admitted to hospital, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
