Clarence Turner of Fairfield, who parachuted along with an instructor, said that he wanted to generate attention for the plight of his 10-month-old great-grandson, the Fox News reported.
According to WLWT of Cincinnati, Julian Couch suffers from a lung disease that could require a transplant and is hospitalized in Columbus. A fundraiser is planned for June 2.
