Security in the country at an all-time low, and observers are questioning the possibility of holding elections at all, it’s been a season of surprises for Afghanistan election watchers. Plagued by questions of poll rigging, candidates bogged down by charges of corruption, the elections in Afghanistan are surely going to be sorely fought for the polls are testimony to the fact that the people of Afghanistan are yearning for a change. But who will be this messiah of change.
