US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice has stressed the need for bringing perpetrators of Mumbai terror strikes to justice and ensuring that such attacks are not repeated.
India and Pakistan are continuing to cooperate in this regard, Rice told reporters after attending a meeting of the Middle East Quartet at the United Nations headquarters on Monday.
To a query, she said, "the key is that the parties need to focus on and I think, we are focusing on both bringing the perpetrators to justice and prevention of any following on attacks."
Rice, who visited both New Delhi and Islamabad in the aftermath of the November 26 attacks on Mumbai, said the US has made its views very clear on the issue and both parties are continuing to cooperate in this regard.
