In Melbourne, he will be meeting with the members of Indian community and later address the media in the evening.
On Sunday, he would be meeting Indian student Sharvan Kumar Theerthala, who was attacked with a screwdriver in Melbourne in May and slipped into comatose.
Later Kumar came out of coma and he had been rehabilitating in Melbourne since then.
Krishna, who is the first senior Indian dignitary to visit the country after the recent spate of attacks on Indians, would also visit areas where the crime rates were reportedly high.
The External Affairs Minister will also be visiting the western suburb of Sunshine.
He will be meeting the Victorian Police authorities and be given a demonstration of a close-circuit television van, installed by them for the safety of Indians, following the furore caused by the spate of recent attacks.
