Minister for Human Resources Development Kapil Sibal and Malaysia's Minister of Higher Education Mohammed Khaled decided that the two countries should accelerate efforts towards signing a MoU in cooperation in the field of Higher Education.
The task force will give its recommendation to the two ministers in a time bound schedule. It will examine the issue of equivalence of degrees and their mutual recognitions.
The two ministers met in Kuala Lumpur on the sidelines of the 17th Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers, which began in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday morning.
