Indian ice cream vendor accused of sexual abuse
An Indian ice cream parlour owner in New York has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing three teenage employees.
Gian Nagpal, 49, was arrested on Tuesday for the second time in eight days and charged with two counts of sexual abuse against two victims -- a 16-year-old and a 14-year-old. One of the girls was groped numerous times, police said.
Nagpal was arrested on July 10 for the first time and was charged with third-degree sexual abuse after a 17-year-old employee complained that he had touched her inappropriately but was released after he furnished a bail of $250, the News Day reported.
Nagpal, who is married and has children, said he had fired the high school girls. He denied groping them. "These are stupid charges," he said.
