Pop legend Michael Jackson has become the longest-serving artist at the top of the British charts this year with his The Essential collection holding on to number one for another week.

Pop legend Michael Jackson has become the longest-serving artist at the top of the British charts this year with his The Essential collection holding on to number one for another week.
The 'King of Pop's greatest hits CD has topped the UK album chart for the fourth week this year, Contactmusic reported.
Jackson's Number Ones hits package also topped the countdown after the star's tragic death last month giving him a total of five weeks at number one, the most for any artiste this year so far.
The 'Bad' hitmaker now has 10 albums in the top 50, five of which are in this week's top 20.
