Photographs of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney's London mansion have been removed from Google's online street Map feature after he demanded.

Security heads for the 66-year-old complained to officials at Google and now images of McCartney's townhouse in St John's Wood in North London have been wiped off the internet map, reported femalefirst.co.uk.

The singer was concerned for his safety after learning his home had been photographed for inclusion on the interactive site, which gives users panoramic views of cities and residential streets around the world

"He was worried when he heard Google users could get a 360-degree view of the property," said a source.
