A North Korean man was injured and allegedly robbed of $100,000 Tuesday in what seems to be a planned assault by criminals in Moscow.

According to a preliminary probe, two attackers driving an unidentified car intercepted his BMW 525 sedan, shot him with a non-lethal gun, took his briefcase with money and drove off.
"The victim claims he was robbed of $100,000," a police spokesman said. "A search for the criminals is underway."
The police official did not disclose the identity or the status of the North Korean man.
