“Barack Obama took office as the 44th president of the United States on January 20,” the Korean Central News Agency reported. “The inauguration ceremony was held at the Capitol building that day. He made an inaugural address there.”

Another report said North Korea was willing to give up nuclear weapons if Obama agreed to conditions imposed by the regime, a pro-Pyongyang newspaper said.
