A spokesman for the regional Interior Ministry, Mark Tolchinsky, said the collision of the Il-76 planes of the Interior Ministry Troops late yesterday also injured two people and that one person was missing.

Tolchinsky says the collision at the airport of Makhachkala, the capital of Dagesta, occurred as one of the planes was taking off and the other taxiing. However, Russian news reports said one of the planes was landing.
