The death toll from China's earthquake has reached 68,858, with another 18,618 missing, a government spokesman said on Friday.

The death toll from China's earthquake has reached 68,858, with another 18,618 missing, a government spokesman said on Friday.
The confirmed death toll, given by cabinet spokesman Guo Weimin at a press conference, marked an increase of about 340 deaths from the day before.
