Bakht Farzandi, a key Pakistani Taliban commander, was arrested in Islamabad on Sunday, a media report said.
Farzandi belongs to the militant organisation's Qari Zia ur Rehman group, the Online news agency reported. He was shifted to an undisclosed location for investigation.
