The Trapil depot, which was blocked by tens of strikers overnight, supplies kerosene to the civilian airports of Marseille, Nice and Lyon as well as the military bases of Orange, des Milles and Salon-de-Provence.
"The police chief has already warned us that he would use the public authority to clear us out," CGT union representative Rachid Mehdi told Reuters.
