Mostly cancers make a form of tumor but in case of leukemia, they don't.

The branch of medicine in which Cancer is studied, diagnosised, treated and prevented is called oncology. Generally, diagnosis of cancer needs detailed and microscopic anatomy examination of a tissue biopsy specimen by a pathologist.

Cancer is not an incurable disease. It can be treated and some of them can be cured. However, it depends totally on the particular type, location and stage.

After diagnosis, cancer is generally treated with a combination of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It can be treated by , radiation therapy, immunotherapy, monoclonal antibody therapy or other methods. There are specific treatments available for specific and various varieties of cancer.
