Priyanka Chopra-starrer US TV show Quantico will have a third season

Actor Priyanka Chopra’s popular American drama thriller Quantico will soon have Season 3. The new season will have a shorter series and comprise 13 episodes in total.

If you have been a fan of Priyanka Chopra and Quantico then this piece of news will surely make you smile. Yes, you have guessed it right. After the successful first two seasons, the show is all set to have a third season.

It goes without saying how equally excited Priyanka is. Sharing her excitement on Twitter she wrote, “So excited about the season 3 pick up for #Quantico congrats to everyone who made it happen! #AlexParrish will be back soon.”

However, Season 3 will be a shorter series and comprise 13 episodes in total. This time around the ABC show will not be helmed by show runner and executive producer Joshua Safran. He will be a part of drama as a consultant. He was quoted by the Hollywood Reporter as saying, “My deal on the show was two years only and it’s up. I’m leaving the show in a good place and capable hands.”

As per reports, Priyanka, who is known for her Bollywodo films such as Krrish (2006), Don 2 (2011), Barfi! (2012) and Bajirao Mastani (2015), will soon start shooting for the show. She is currently busy promoting her upcoming American action-comedy, Baywatch starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, among others.

While the first season of Quantico focused on terrorism, the second season is more about how current political triggers terrorism. We have to now wait and watch what the makers have in store for the third season.
