Pacer Mohit Sharma, out of the India limited-overs side since October last year, put down the dip in his bowling form to falling hair.

He was part of the World T20 squad, but didn’t get a game.

In his last ODI, Sharma conceded 84 runs in seven overs as South Africa scored 438 runs in 50 overs.

“I realised I was losing hair, and it really affected my confidence big time, which in turn affected my bowling,” the Haryana pacer said on the sidelines of an event featuring a hair studio.

The 28-year-old has shown signs of returning to top form in domestic cricket, having picked 16 wickets in five Ranji Trophy games.
