Tom Cruise left onlookers in south-west London stunned and amazed as he landed a helicopter in a local playing field.
Social media caught fire Friday morning as the Hollywood A-lister, 53, touched down on Old Rutlishian Sports Ground in Morden, as he arrived in order to shoot scenes from his upcoming Jack Reacher sequel in nearby Wimbledon Studios.
The club’s official Twitter account posted a picture of Cruise shortly after he landed on their field, writing, “Let’s hope this coming season isn’t a mission impossible. Mr Top Gun himself dropped by poplar road. @TomCruise.”
Other people in the area saw Cruise impressively landing the helicopter, and took to social media to document it.
