Fire breaks outs at Mangaldas Market in South Mumbai

According to officials, the fire broke out in a godown in the old market area around 6.15 am. The brigade rushed 8 fire engines, 7 water tankers and one breathing apparatus van to the spot.

The fire call escalated to a major or level 3 call around 7.35 am.

A disaster management official at BMC said that the fire is under control. No casualties have been reported, he confirmed. More details awaited.
