Pune couple fished out from quarry

The city’s fire brigade personnel found the bodies of a couple at a water-filled quarry at Amba Nagari in Vishrantwadi.
The age of the man and woman is around 25 years. The department was alerted about the bodies around 8 am. The cause of death is assumed to be of drowning. The fire brigade personnels rushed to the spot and fished out the bodies.
The deceased was identified as Sunny Jagtap and the girl’s identity is yet to be ascertained. Primary information reveal that both are residents of Vishrantwadi.
Both the bodies were handed over to the police and further investigations are on. Earlier, the neighbourhood informed the police control room at 8 am when they found the body of the girl floating.
The police firefighter informed the police. The body of the boy was found after searching for one and a half hour.
