Identity of the deceased man is yet to be ascertained

A 45-year-old man was run over by a Pune -Karjat local train on platform number 2 on Sunday morning.

"Identity of the deceased is not yet known. We have found a mobile phone near the body and are trying to contact his parents through it.” The body was handed over to the Sasoon hospital, he added.

The deceased was wearing a blue checked shirt and black trousers. There are no identification marks on the body, the official said.
