Vijay Antony’s Yaman is doing well at the box office.

Tamil music composer Vijay Antony has been quite successful in his new journey as an actor. Even at a time when none of the Tamil films earned profits for the distributors, his recently released political actioner Yaman is holding well at the box office. “Currently, Vijay Antony has two films. In, Annadurai, he will be seen playing dual roles while his other film Kaali will start rolling from this year-end,” says a source close to the actor.

Another exciting update we hear from Vijay Antony’s camp is that the actor has been approached by Kabali producer Thanu for a film titled Pagalavan, and it will be directed by Seeman, who returns to direction after a brief hiatus, thanks to his political ambitions. The film was supposed to be made with Tamil superstar Vijay, but citing strong political dialogues targeting local political parties, the actor chose to opt out.

“As Vijay Antony has two projects in the pipeline, an official announcement on Pagalavan will be made by the second half of this year,” added the source. Vijay Antony will start shooting for Pagalavan from 2018.
