Garbine Mugguruza defeated Venus Williams 7-5, 6-0 to power her way to her first Wimbledon singles title on Saturday.

Garbine Muguruza powered her way to her first Wimbledon singles title on Saturday after beating five-time champion Venus Williams 7-5, 6-0, two years after losing to her sister Serena in the final. The Spaniard took the first set 7-5 after saving two set points. In the second set, Williams faded spectacularly as Muguruza raced to victory.
