After weeks of will-he-won’t-he, Suyyash Rai was finally shown the door by Bigg Boss this weekend. The TV actor was inside the Bigg Boss 9 house for 12 weeks but never came across as his own person.
He played hide-and-seek with the eviction process over the last few weeks by either dodging the nominations or being plain lucky. Suyyash, however, is grateful for whatever time he got on the show. “My journey inside the Bigg Boss house has helped me grow and become a better person. I have certainly mellowed down and as I look back, I am proud about a lot of decisions I took while I was inside the house. I did make mistakes – but at the end of it, I have learnt a lot many things about myself,” he told Hindustan Times.
The actor also took to Twitter to thank his fans. “Guys all i can say is I LOVE YOU ALL thanks for all the support Suyyashians #BiggBoss9,” Suyyash tweeted. During his stay inside the house, Suyyash was infamous for being girlfriend Kishwar Merchant’s puppet and following her blindly. Host Salman Khan even called him ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’.

Suyyash is unfazed by any of it. “For me, Kishwar is a sure shot winner of this season and I am also going to root for Prince. I just wish I could have stayed inside the house for a longer time and celebrated my fifth anniversary with Kishwar on January 9. Nevertheless, I will wait for her to emerge victorious and am certainly going to miss every single moment spent inside the Bigg Boss house!” Suyyash said.
Prince emerged as one of his best friends through the journey and the duo was even honoured with the ‘Best Jodi Award’ inside the house during New Year celebrations last weekend. The competition is likely to intensify now with Mandana Karimi, Rochelle Rao, Kishwar Merchant, Prince Narula, Keith Sequeira, Rishabh Sinha and Priya Malik vying for the trophy.
