“We’re trying to put through the interpretations of seven talented photographers who are from different professions. For some, faith is related to God and for others, it means trusting the people associated with their everyday lives. Family doctor, hairdressers, tailors and other service providers for whom one is willing to wait if they are not available, are other examples,” says Ravi Dhingra of Camera Unlimited, the organisers.

One of the participating photo-artists, Raajan Sharma, says, “I have tried showing my version of faith with hands doing different karmas. For me, faith is not confined to any religion.”

Other manifestations in the series are people trusting their dangerous professions or praying with utmost dedication. “Prayer is the ultimate act of faith. It’s our channel of communication with a God we have not seen. It’s hope without expectation,” says Rajesh Ramakrishnan, another participating artist.
