India will have a great chance to add to their medal tally on Day 6 of Asian Games 2018 when they take part in the summit clashes in kabaddi and tennis. The Indian women’s Kabaddi team cruises into the final of the event after thrashing Chinese Taipei 27-14 in the semi-finals and will now take on Iran. At the tennis courts, the Indian men’s doubles team of Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan registered a hard fought victory to enter the final.
On Day 5, Shardul Vihan bagged silver while tennis players took two medals even as the Indian men’s kabaddi team failed to enter the final.Vihan gave the Indian campaign a superb start early by finishing second in the men’s double trap final. The 15-year-old shot 73 to claim the silver medal, while Korea’s 34-year-old Shin Hyunwoo clinched gold scoring 74.
