Congress has made a formal complaint against an IAS officer who had made a presentation at the BJP headquarters on Saturday. The party leaders asked Chief Secretary to take action.

The Congress on Monday lodged a formal complaint against an IAS officer who had made a presentation at the BJP headquarters on Saturday.

PCC president Arun Yadav lodged the complaint with chief secretary Anthony DeSa against IAS officer Rajesh Rajora and sought action against him for alleged violation of the civil services conduct.

The party has also demanded action against another IAS officer SK Mishra for meeting senior RSS functionary Suresh Soni earlier.

The party has demanded immediate suspension of both the officers. Yadav later said that Rajora’s visit to the BJP office and giving a presentation, was nothing but “BJP-isation and saffronisation” of the bureaucracy.

State BJP vice-president and MP Rakesh Singh played down the issue and said the officer could go to any other forum of any party for giving presentations.
