Bhopal: Rape accused booked again for sending obscene video on FB

Shivam Sharma, a builder, who was earlier arrested for allegedly sexually exploiting a city-based model, has now been booked under the Information Technology (IT) Act.

Sharma was recently released on bail. The city-based model alleged that Sharma recently sent her an obscene video on Facebook, and also threatened her over phone and on Facebook. Her father approached police and lodged an FIR. The cyber cell would be asked to examine the evidences in this case.

The 26-year-old model had alleged that Sharma had sexually exploited her and later refused to marry her. She said Sharma had tried to poison her to thwart the marriage plan.

The first case was registered in November last year. Meanwhile, the woman has said her modelling career suffered due to the incident. She has said that she would keep fighting against Sharma, until she gets justice.
