BJP leader shot, injured in MP

A leader of the ruling BJP and his two supporters were injured when gunmen fired at them when they were returning home in MP, police said.

A leader of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and his two supporters were injured when gunmen fired at them when they were returning home in Madhya Pradesh, police said on Monday.

The incident occurred late Sunday in Badwani district, 300 km from here. Shambhu Sharma, the BJP's Badwani district general secretary, was in hospital and out of danger, police officer Ranvijay Bhadauria, told IANS.
