A goods train derailed in Madhya Pradesh on the Singrauli-Katni sector on Friday, affecting rail traffic on the route.
According to a Jabalpur western central railway official, 31 wagons of the goods train derailed around 8:30 am between Manjhouli and Devgram stations, causing heavy damage to the tracks and diverting a number of passenger trains.
Nobody was injured in the incident though.
After receiving information about the derailment, senior railway officials and the Jabalpur divisional railway manager rushed to the spot.
