Medical superintendent of AIIMS Dr KC Tamaria said the testing kits arrived on Saturday.

"We have the resources for testing but we needed testing kits. Now that the Central government through the local authorities has provided us the kits, we will start swine flu testing in Bhopal," he said.

Tamaria further said, "It will save lot of precious time. We will be in a position to provide the test results on the same day. We will be testing around 42 samples every day."

Tamaria said they would conduct the tests and send the results to government hospitals. He said they were not treating swine flu patients yet.

"We will test samples only from government hospitals, JP Hospital and Hamidia," said Tamaria.
