MP government to seek Rs 2,500 crore for healthcare work expansion

The Madhya Pradesh government will present a proposal to the Centre to seek Rs 2,500 crore for the expansion of health services in Madhya Pradesh.

The Madhya Pradesh government will present a proposal to the Centre to seek Rs 2,500 crore for the expansion of health services in Madhya Pradesh.

In a statement on Monday, the state government said directives regarding this were given by chief secretary Anthony de Sa.

A meeting will be held in New Delhi on March 10 in the backdrop of new provisions made for the implementation of health programmes in central and state budgets.

Principal secretary of health Pravir Krishn will present the proposal to the union health secretary in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Concerning officers of the union ministry of health and family welfare and the state government will be present on the occasion.
